After I posted this, somebody went and changed the Status to ‘Cucked’ but it was quickly changed back to Defunct. Now it has been changed back to normal. At least I was able to get a screenshot before it was changed back.

I hope it doesn’t either. I think the sentence given is pretty massive as far as the media is concerned though.

Still a ways to go to worry about that. Gawker will probably win their appeal, or at the very least, have the damages knocked down to a more reasonable amount.

Few years ago Gawker posted Hulk Hogan’s sex tape and got sued for $100mm. Trial wrapped up today and jury awarded him $115mm (apparently because Gawker came off so scummy during the proceedings).
